Karen is the heart and soul of the UNSW Swimming Club and was recently awarded life membership of the Club.

Karen has been involved in UNSW Swimming Club for 20 years. Registrar for 10 years, UNSW Swim Club Representative for NSW Swimming for 10 years, running Club Nights for 12 years, State and National Tour Coordinator, our longest serving committee member and our swimmers biggest supporter.

Karen was recognised by the University of NSW in 2018 when awarded the 'Doug Crawford Sports Recognition Award' for continuous and outstanding contribution to sport at UNSW.

Karen's involvement at UNSW began in 1994 and she has been involved in every aspect of the Swim Club since. 

There is rarely a swim meet at any level that Karen does not support. She celebrates all our swimmers and their achievements - whether they be a new junior swimmer or a national level swimmer - with overwhelming joy, enthusiasm and happiness.
